This would really add to our home school experience

thankyou :)

For the local school...

I find the way this contest is made (obligatory linking of account with Twitter, Facebook, newsletter subscription, and so on...) so wrong, so malware alike, and completely in contradiction to the open source idea that from now on all messages containing opensource.com will be blocked as spam/malware on my servers.

I would love to have a Raspberry Pi 3, but I am unsure what this comment is supposed to be about!

I love to win Raspberry Pi..........

Nothing else but the RB 3!

I have to say, if you're that crazy about getting a Raspberry Pi, save up and buy one, they really are very cheap, great value and fun to play with!

I need to my final year project so I am need of that :P

I want all of them, but I only have 9 entries at the moment. I really don't like to use Facebook. So I don't have that one point. Anyway, thanks for giving this opportunity.

Now is a good time to look at what you can -- and can't -- do with a
Raspberry Pi 3. Good luck, and happy building.

I am a poor fellow and dying out to get one please do provide me one as I don't have that much money to buy one in India as you would know its more costly here. I have a lot of intrest in embedded programming and I would like to pursue my passion so to start me learning it please do send one out will ya. I beg you guys i do

I was fortunate to win an Arduino starter kit a couple of years ago from the nice people here at Opensource.
Since then I have been using the Arduino platform for a wide variety of projects with our group's PhD students, as well as some personal things :)
I am currently working on a photoelectric charge sampling system for a 1KHz rate few cycle femtosecond pulse laser experiment in one of our labs using an Arduino Zero and an external 24bit ADC.
I now make up my own AVR Arduino projects from bare chips as well, the whole process being quite easy (after the first time round the loop setting up anyhow).
So a big thank you to Opensource for getting me going with the Arduino platform.

This is such a great story, Susan. Thank you so much for reaching out to us! Rikki responded to your Facebook comment about this yesterday, but in case you didn't see it I just wanted to invite you to share your story in the form of an article here on Opensource.com. Our editorial team would love to work with you to get it published.

If you're interested, here's how to get started:

How do I buy this combination if I am not a winner?

In Firefox, the option for visiting the Facebook page doesn't automatically expand. Doesn't seem possible for me to act on that one.

An RPi 3 how cool would that be?

I've been meaning to get a Pi and try out some cute applications, but I never seem to get around to it. If you send me one it will light a fire under me! :-)

Hope I win!

I would like to innovate new ideas and projects with # Raspberry Pi device. Recently I completed my college semester project on Raspberry Pi. That was fun and something new on which I had worked. Thanks for manufacturing such a single board processor. In future I will eagerly contribute something valuable projects using Raspberry Pi.

Can someone from opensource.com please explain why this contest is open to some countries but not to others? Why are people from some EU countries allowed to participate but not from others (e.g. France, Portugal, Italy, Greece, etc) ?

Pedro,
Thanks for reaching out to us. This is a question we receive often. Because we're supported by Red Hat, we're limited to doing contests and giveaways in countries that the company's legal team has already checked our terms and conditions against. (Restrictions can vary widely from country to country.) We hear you loud and clear and hope to open up future contests to more countries, but for the time being we're limited to a select few.

I would like to win the open source back pack to look cool.

It's interesting to see this contest. The only let down is that it's not open to any african country. I have an Arduino which I obtained with some difficulty in Nigeria. It would be nice to have the chance to win a Raspberry pi especially now that the naira-dollar currency exchange rate is unfavourable :-(
