For the fourth month in a row, we've had over 400k page views each month on Opensource.com. We saw another steady month in November, which garnered 402,689 page views and 233,101 unique visits. We published 72 articles including 11 featured pieces during our Open Food Week.

Highlights

It was amazing to see that 63% (45 articles) of the content published was contributed from the open source community.

For the eleventh month in a row, the top article was "Top 5 open source project management tools in 2014," written by one of our community moderators. It continues to get steady search traffic and was the most visited page on the site with almost 40,000 page views.

Our community moderators contributed 19 articles this month (27% of our published content) as well of lots of great social media support and syndication efforts.

A Wired article: Can Open Source Help Solve Unemployment? mentions our article, What open source means to a young programmer.

Rankings

Our "What is open source?" page maintained the #1 position in organic search results and generated 19,265 page views, a 1,300 view increase and a new monthly record.

The "What is OpenStack" page hit another all-time record receiving 9,413 views (October 8,681). The search rank for the "OpenStack" on Google in steady at the #3 position in organic results.
