Our team also is at the same garage sales and Goodwill stores, though in practice it is mostly eBay. Jacob Alexander, one of the founders of our group is a keyboard archaeologist, and has a collection of over 500 keyboards going back to the 1950s. In short, we care about the feel and the historical connection quite a bit. To this end, we actually invented a new keyboard switch for the K-Type, details of which will be announced on Tuesday. Hopefully this helps give you insight into how we operate, though I am sad to say there will be no buckling spring version of the K-Type.
