There are only four stickers stuck to my laptop are a map quest, and a poppy are two but the other two include quotes by famous people. They are printed on large Avery mailing labels.

One says

The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism -- ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power.... -- Franklin D. Roosevelt

The other says:

There is not such a cradle of democracy upon the earth as the Free Public Library, this republic of letters, where neither rank, office, nor wealth receives the slightest consideration."
— Andrew Carnegie

I should find a Richard Stallman quote to add to the collection.

My mother is 91 and has been using Linux for ten years. The calls to my help desk dropped of to zilch after getting her off of Windows.
