Mary Ann

Mary Ann Bitter is a member of the Brand Communications + Design team at Red Hat where she is either collaborating with the graphic design team on a variety of projects or brainstorming ideas with the Education Community here on opensource.com. She believes there is a lot to learn from the open source values and when applied genuinely, they will (and do) work wonders.

Starting in the Fall of 2011, she will begin a flexible Design Strategy MBA program at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA where she hopes to learn how to unite the perspectives of systems thinking, design/integrative thinking, sustainability, finance, entrepreneurship, and leadership into a comprehensive strategic framework.

She is a proud Texan, loves traveling, and anything outdoors -- especially the beach!
