Jakarta EE looks interesting, but I have no love for Oracle these days.
Have they become a better Open Source Software steward? Bad taste of OpenOffice and MySQL still linger among many OSS purists.
In addition, I'm doing a Udemy course on Mastering Julia and I also plan on getting into Nim (formerly Nimrod) and Crystal when they're ready for production. Kotlin also looks like a very promising alternative to Java.
