Going the past few days without the <a href="http://www.loc.gov">Library of Congress's site</a> has been a pain, but it is back up (for now).
The UK's <a href="http://nationalarchives.gov.uk/">National Archives</a> launched a redesigned website on Sept. 30. It is really nice. Check it out if you're looking for cool historical information while some of the USA's sites are unavailable.
I'm sure Jimmie is nifty, but I've seen and read enough sci-fi to know that homemade robots are a <a href="http://www.robotuprising.com/home.htm">really, really bad idea</a>... ;-)
