Actually, I have an entire talk on that subject, literally called "Don't fear failure" lol. I wanted to provide a slightly different take (and with it, a different wording) on it in this article since it's only one aspect of what I think engineers should be focusing on. I actually was hesitant to put a "quick summary" at the top because I feared folks would simply read those bullet points and not the content deeper into the post, but hopefully the actual content in the article allays your fears about the advice I'm trying to impart.
