The Supreme Court of the United States has decided to hear the appeal of Alice v CLS. Here is our chance to abolish software patents entirely and forever.
Apparently these proposed reforms will also hinder the large patent aggressors somewhat. IBM and Microsoft have been lobbying hard to eliminate provisions in the proposed bill which will hinder their software patent protection rackets.
