Bertrand Delacretaz works as a Principal Scientist with the Adobe Research team in Basel, Switzerland. Thanks for your comment - I fully agree and that's similar to the examples of "hybrid meetings" mentioned in the article, where the ASF's Board of Directors and the Swiss government both prepare meetings almost as if they were fully asynchronous, and keep only the most important or difficult items for discussion at the synchronous meeting. Preparation is key, and I'm known for rejecting meeting invitations when the agenda is not clear enough to allow me to prepare.
