yattdst, Linux suffers mightily from YATTDST syndrome - yet another tool to do the same thing. Inventing NEW applications that do NEW things is hard. So folks who want to be coders write tools to do what others already (mostly) do. Largely a waste of time. And don't get me started on systemd .....
While I laud teaching kids programming and other STEM topics, I have to say that I really really dislike Python, and while it is better than using BASIC, I fear that introducing programming using Python will have negative consequences down the road.
