I can confirm now that there are issues with non-standard ports (:20080) and redirections.
So like Kaustubh Ghadge suggested (thank you btw), please add the port back to the URL when you get redirected to localhost/auth.
Hard to say what is going on. Might be some (local/os) firewall that is in the way.
