Great article. I use some open source graphics software (Blender, Krita, Inkscape, Scribus) when designing some of my things and I support them by bug tracking them, going on about them to friends and colleagues and occasionally writing about them.
Nice article. I'm not a programmer, but I'm learning Python because it is a great tool to help enhance open source design software like Inkscape and Blender. Plus, it's fairly clear and logical and easy for somebody like me to use / learn.
