She spent a lot of her career (so far) serving the technology needs of libraries, and has been a contributor since 2008 to the Koha open source library automation suite. I have exactly zero need for an Xserver, but I'll take a look at it--Cygwin integration could be handy.

On my Linux laptop, I use Terminator, and on my Windows box (yes, yes....) I've not found anything yet superior to PuTTY. It does what I need, and its' copy/paste integration is super-nice.
