Gnome-weather and gnome-clocks are not extensions but programs/apps.

As for Applications Menu, it's one of those dogmatic concepts that shows how unflexible people can be. The "Gnome way" and this extension perform exactly the same action and with the same mouse/keyboard movement. This kind of dogmatism makes me wish Gnome would just pull an Apple and force their changes on users without the whole extension mechanism.
