Surya is an Open Source advocate and contributor (active in Kubernetes, OpenShift projects) working as a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat in the OpenShift Networking team. Her areas of interest include Cloud Infrastructure and Networked Services and Systems. She is currently working on OpenShift CNI plugins like OVN-Kubernetes and OpenShift-SDN. The technology stack that she is familiar with includes K8s APIs and Controllers, CRDs, L4/L3/L2 Networking, OVN, OVS, Conntrack, IPTables.
Holding a Master’s degree in Computer Networks and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, she loves solving problems in any sphere of life (specially if it involves coding and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds). When she is not working, she loves to bike, swim, practice spirituality and binge watch.
