Good question, that we've come across before. Most of the users of the network who do donate bandwidth are mostly small community businesses. These locations have business internet connections, which do allow sharing of the internet connection in their Terms of Service. There is a bit of a grey area when it comes to working with residential connections that we haven't had to run into yet, but the rules should be fairly similar depending on what internet service provider would be powering the residential connection.
