kiran nigam works as a self-employed educator, doing workshops, trainings, and consulting for cooperatives and collectively-run communities on topics addressing social justice, communication, community support, and collective functioning. She is helping to coordinate the U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives' annual conference, to take place in August 2010, and is a former Board and Staff member of the North American Students of Cooperation. She is also an organizer for the US Social Forum, to be held in Detroit in June 2010. She is based in Berkeley, California and can be reached at kiran@nasco.coop.
