Kevin is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he currently lives with his wife and daughter. He is twice graduated from Virginia Tech; with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (‘92) and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Applications (‘99). Kevin is a co-founder and Chief Scientist of Bridgeborn, Inc., a small business providing information technology services, operational support, policy guidance, and research. Kevin is also a co-founder of CityCamp, an international “un-conference” series and online community focused on innovation for municipal governments and community organizations. He is a member of the Board of Advisors to Code for America, where he helps connect the “brightest minds of the Web 2.0 generation” with needs of city governments.
