Thank you! I completely agree. I try to encourage everyone who can to travel, especially to cultures that are very different from home. Reading is a very close second among my recommendations. Anything we can do to discover the truth that "the other" is far more similar to ourselves than different is beneficial; the bonus is when we discover the beauty in the differences and find ourselves changing as well.
