If you get into Blu-Ray, you're going to need a lot more storage. I wouldn't say my collection is huge, but I'm currently using 6.3 TB of my first 8 TB hard drive.
I’m with you on point #1. I prefer XFCE for a number for reasons, one of which is that it’s very light, which makes it especially great for older machines.
