I think I goofed up in the above. Both Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint are proprietary which I purchased. They are not open sourced. One thing both of them lack is good clip art to make visuals come alive. I mostly use Google Images to get the illustration I need. In the past, I had to purchase the clip art.
Creating visual images and illustrations are extremely important when communicating globally in which for many people English is their second language. This is my world. Over the years, I have produced a lot of presentations. In the past, I used Adobe Illustrator. In recent times, I just use PowerPoint. I produce my presentations on a desktop. I save them in a PDF format for easy presentation from a mobile device. Then, I can give quick presentations when one-on-one with someone or a few people. I want my slides to be so explanatory that very little speaking is required.
