Ross Turk is director of portfolio architectures and emerging technology marketing for Red Hat, responsible for promoting solutions that traverse the entire Red Hat portfolio of products.
Turk comes to Red Hat from Inktank, Inc., acquired by Red Hat in May 2014, where he was vice president of marketing and community. He has over 20 years of experience creating open source software, managing complex IT systems, and helping companies serve technology communities. Before joining Inktank, Turk managed developer communities and provided engineering leadership for SourceForge.net, the world’s largest open source community.
