While it's not my favourite Markdown editor, Mark Text is a very good one. I especially like some of the little features, like the formatting bar that displays when you need it and the running word count.
For me, Mark Text is Typora's open source opposite number. While not quite as polished as Typora, Mark Text is still quite a flexible editor.
Thanks for the script. I've been using the script a bit lately and it works like a charm. Especially the option to add a border to an image.
