Funny to see someone referencing tldp.org in an article I wrote! Why? because naturally I learnt much of the shell scripting I know from tldp.org! I agree, it's a great site for shell scripting tips.
Good luck! There are several great resources online, of course. Just remember to test your script in a safe environment *before* using it on real data that actually matters. Trust me.
