The show isn't about being a "luddite" at all, and essentially is a news and commentary show about Linux and issues surrounding the Linux OS and community
I'm a big fan of field recording. I use an H4(n) for recording. There's a nice solid community around Creative Commons sounds (field recordings included) at http://freesound.org
