Getting credit: Taking your place in a meritocracy

The big problem mentioned in those articles is that meritocracies aren't really based on merit, and that people who think that their "merit" caused their rise will be more arrogant. I believe this article addresses a number of those concerns. The question addressed here is how to mitigate a known problem of people feeling that their voice is being ignored. It presents a practical strategy for making sure that your voice is heard and that you get credit for your ideas.
