Please emphasize throughout this article that this 'tweaker' only works on ONE distro: Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon.
In its current state it cannot be used for anything else. I'm afraid that the only way to generalize this is the 'old geek' way of documenting and saving configuration files perhaps in a git repository.
