Personally, I have tried a few plugins and a variety of editors. Not yours (yet) though. I encourage all my students and clients to find something that works for them.

As an instructor I often have to present with tools that are in a base distribution. Similarly, the student exercises are written to use the most commonly available stock utilities.

I often find myself sticking to the basic tools in my everyday activities as well. It is easier than switching back and forth when I present or explaining a shortcut I have that is not available in the classroom for the students to use.
