The turning point would certainly be when the popular console/PC games (any <a href="http://www.callofduty.com/">COD</a> fans here?) have been ported to Linux with reasonable performance. Legendary games like <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/app/240/">CS:Source</a> and <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/app/70/">Half Life</a> are already available.
