What happened to the giveaway, is it done? Did someone win?
I would recommend TexMaker as the tool for LaTeX. Overleaf is excellent but requires an Internet connection. I have started out in Overleaf or used a free template in their repository and then continue my work on my local computer in TexMaker as I do a lot of writing while commuting or don't have an Internet connection.
