An AI policy researcher, machine learning engineer and lawyer, Gretchen Greene works with Cambridge startups on everything from autonomous vehicles to QR codes in wearables and advises government leaders on AI use and policy. Greene has been a U.S. Departments of Defense, Energy and Homeland Security mathematician, has been interviewed by the Economist, Forbes China and the BBC, has published in science and policy journals and has represented the United States in federal court. Greene is in the AI and Governance Assembly at MIT Media Lab/Harvard Berkman Klein Center. She has a CPhil and MS in math from UCLA and a JD from Yale.
