By evening and weekend, he dons his costume (which looks remarkably like the jeans and T-shirts he normally wears), and goes out doing battle against the forces of proprietary software. I'm hoping the social media stuff doesn't float on the right all the time. I can figure out, all by my "widdle wonesome", without being badgered, whether I want to share something, and how to do it.
Not to steer you away from a tool you already know and love, but have you looked at Sphinx (http://www.sphinx-doc.org/en/stable/)? In my limited experience with such tools, I found Sphinx to be a joy to work with.
(That said, I'll take a gander at ASCIIdoc to see how it compares.)
