Think of the most boring TV series you can, where the same thing happens in every episode (eg Holby City, Little House On The Prairie, Eldoraro, etc). That is my job. Things I deal with daily - paper jams, forgotten passwords, projectors and sound (invariably the wrong input is selected), out of disk space, I lost my work (Did you save it?), etc, etc
I've been 38 years in IT (except it used to be called computing). Most of my career has been spent doing jobs that nobody wanted, ploughing the legacy furrow. I've pretty much always been in work.
