Ron McFarland has been working in Japan for over 40 years, and he's spent more than 30 of them in international sales, sales management training, and expanding sales worldwide. Over the most recent 17 years, Ron had established distributors in the United States and throughout Europe for a Tokyo-headquartered, Japanese hardware cutting tool manufacturer. I was just watching some panel discussions at the World Economic Forum in Davos.  One thing that came to mind was the pace of transparency around the global which leads to more standardization.  With more transparency, standardization will explode.  That will lead to the introduction of even more collaborative commons.

Norberg writes about the importance of open societies, particularly addressing global issues like climate change, pandemics, world hunger and international conflicts.  There is another one that might be equally important as those, global obesity.  Notice this presentation:  https://youtu.be/DboTyNu-FLk
