Excellent. We do need some open standards for allowing central control of multiple devices and charging sharing - so excess PV/Wind etc can (say) partially heat your water and charge the car depending on parameters you can set yourself and add components from different manufactures at will.
Don't make Pointless Document Format things. You're phone, your computer and your TV are not A4 shaped. Make HTML freeflow documents and you can read them on all of the above, and print then to A4 and more importantly they are accessible via your browser. You have to go to great lengths to make PDFs accessible. Worst 'invention' of the computer age.
