You just forget Scribus, the only open source document editor that manages well CMYK document for printing.
I used to record the desktop with RecordMyDesktop, but the theora codec that is used to export is now very old. And Yes, Pitivi can edit it, but the quality is not that good. And other NLE can not edit it.
Not I am using OBS (https://obsproject.com), it is available also on Mac and Windows, you can also use it to stream directly to Youtube. While OBS can not record only a window, it is much more powerful. And the quality is high !
