Deb Bryant | Deb is Senior Director, Open Source Program Office at Red Hat, where she champions her team's mission to make upstream open source projects wildly successful and loves her job. She serves on numerous boards and councils with public trust agendas and an emphasis on open source to achieve their objectives; Board Adviser to Open Source Elections Technology (OSET) Foundation, OASIS Open Projects, and Democracy Lab. She served a six-year term on Board of Directors of the Open Source Initiative (OSI). She's also passionate about open and transparent government and the use of open source software as an essential tool to support those goals. In 2010 Deb received an O’Reilly Open Source Award at OSCON in recognition of her contribution to open source communities and advocating its use in government.
