With December 7th, you refer to Pearl Harbor right? I doubt people who actually 'lived' the event would forget. I think it is different though nowadays, with internet and social media.

I live in the Netherlands, Europe. It only took a few minutes for the Boston event to show up in my Twitter timeline. So yes, that does make ones focus shift quicker. But I hope, not forget.

This topic is about the strength of communities. Maybe the same communities (read people) should also pass on these important moments in history.

We don't have one at work. I work at a municipality right now, and can't think of something for a municipality to make use of such a printer. Personally I do not own one (yet). I think my son would want to use it, printing all sorts of Lego parts.
