Another month, another preview of what Opensource.com has in store for readers. Although this is the last month of the year, expect to continue to see previews coming your way at the start of every month. We've got big plans for 2017!

2016 Open Source Yearbook

Last year, we produced our first yearbook, a community-contributed collection of the year's top open source projects, people, tools, and stories. You can download the 2015 Open Source Yearbook to see what people were talking about last year.

This year, we have another fantastic yearbook in store for you. We published the first article for the collection this week, and we'll be publishing the rest through the end of the year and into January. Check back for the latest.

Best of Opensource.com

Every year we highlight some of the best articles we've published for you into neat little packages, like our popular Best of Opensource.com: Tutorials. We publish these during the last two weeks of the year, so stay tuned!

The Open Organization

The open organization community may have already hosted it's final #OpenOrgChat of the 2016 season, but they're not ready to relax by the fire just yet. In fact, I've been told to expect a big announcement from them on December 6. Stay tuned!
