Great article David! I never understood the differences of these two commands and now thanks to your brilliant article I have a much better idea. I never used 'sudo' until I started using Ubuntu about 15 years ago. Prior to that my experience with Red Hat and Fedora was with 'su'. I have gotten used to 'sudo' now on both Ubuntu/Debian based distros and also on Fedora and have rarely used 'su'.

Great review of XFCE. I learned some things from your article that I'm going to try. I also breathed new life into a laptop a couple of years ago using the XFCE desktop.
