It's pleasant to see that RecordMyDesktop has included the zero compression feature. I'd used RecordMyDesktop in the past, but the compressed Theora files were nearly impossible to edit cleanly. I ended up migrating to screen capturing directly with FFMPEG to lossless h.264 within an MKV container. However, with lossless (or at least, compressionless) Theora, perhaps editing screencasts from RecordMyDesktop will be less problematic.
Guess I'll need to test myself to be sure. :)
I've been using Terminology for quite a while now. Been a huge fan of it. It's especially nice for graphical things like displaying images, thumbnails, and previewing videos. Also, being able to create arbitrary tabs and splits is quite nice.
