Use XMLStarlet to parse XML in the Linux terminal

jq is very popular, and very nice to use: https://opensource.com/article/20/6/modern-linux-command-line-tools#jq

There are also so Python libraries that can help you design your own solutions. https://www.redhat.com/sysadmin/yaml-tips but I think jq is probably the best all-rounder.

Identify flowers and trees with open source

I've added clarification about which components are open source, and which components are not. Because there are many ways to interface with PlantNet, there are indeed several licenses involved, but I think the article clarifies that now.
