Opensource.com closed out May with 623,688 page views. We published 90 articles including five posts for our Open Hardware series, six for our OpenStack Summit interview series, and six for our DrupalCon interview series.

Highlights

In May, 53% of the content published on the site was contributed by members of the open source community. Also, we had 33 new authors and 19 previous writers (staff included). Our Community Moderators contributed 19 articles last month (21% of our published content), and gave us lots of support on social media and with syndication efforts. On June 1, we welcomed Aleksandar Todorović, author of A beginner's guide to GitHub, to the Community Moderators program.

We have two new columns: Share documentation best practices for the Doc Dish column, or share your story about how you got started with Linux for the My Linux Story column. We're always looking for contributors to our recurring columns, such as Apache projects, DevOps, open hardware, Humanitarian Free and Open Source Software (HFOSS), content management systems, and more. If you're a first-time writer, don't worryour editors will help you through the writing and editing process.
